I don’t have a particular thing to tell about today so i decided to continue my backpackers’ story during my travel in India. So as usual, i will write in full english for that matter. The place i want to tell to you about now is called MANALI.

Manali is a small town which is Hill Station (Hill Station for example is Cameron Highlands in Malaysia), located in the state of Himachal Pradesh. Manali is not that far off Shimla which is the Capital for Himachal Pradesh. It is very popular with the locals as well as foreigners.

I can tell you in details but i leave it to wikipedia for it. Manali in Wiki.

After we tour around Agra, we went to Fatehpur Sikri, and New Delhi. In Fatehpur Sikri we just stop by for a moment and continue our journey by taxi to Jaipur by Taxi. After Jaipur we went to Jaisalmer to spend good 3 days there before we went on to Manali.

As you can see i’m skipping New Delhi and Jaipur and Jaisalmer. These 3 places are much better and much more stories to tell rather than Manali, so i will tell those letter. For your info, during this 3rd Travel in India, my most favourite place is Jaisalmer. Go wiki!

So from Jaisalmer we took the famous Indian Express Train from Jaisalmer to New Delhi which took around 12 hours, and by that i mean, a very ’short trip’ in terms of travelling in India, which is a sub-continent by itself.

When we reach New Delhi we got a difficulty of finding our connection transport to Manali. We reach the New Delhi Interstate Bus Terminal, and we found a lot of counter for bus ticket closed, we don’t know why but we kept waiting. mind you, to enter the terminal you must go through security like in the airport, detection whatsoever, in a BUS terminal!! hehehe that’s ok, wait till you hear my story on New Delhi.

As my previous post before, if you want a comfortable journey by bus in India, look for the term VOLVO BUS, or ask for Volvo Bus when buying ticket. dont worry all Volvo Bus terminology will have good suspension, powerful Airconditioner, and good service. I would recommend you to take The State Bus rather than private companies because at least you will be rest assured at least that you get what you pay for. We took HRTC bus, Super Volvo Bus to Manali which cost us Rs.950 converted to around RM90 approx. Expensive? Go and try the cheap non-aircond bus, i swear you would spend 4 days in Manali to recuperate. Try it and tell me later ok!

The Trip took us good 11 hours to reach Manali. Indeed, a very short trip in terms of Travelling in India. don’t worry. hehe. When we reach it’s already early in the morning around 7am, and i was very happy the small town is full of SNOW! Yeah. I know that this small town is a snowy town, but according to my research pre-travel, they say the snow is already reducing because the winter is nearing the end. But who are they to predict the weather? the weather man? naaah! 

Just reached Manali - the first day

As an asian living in a very hot and humid country for his previous 21 years, i would only dreamt touching a snow in Europe, United States or maybe even Korea and Japan. But i would never believe it actually INDIA the first time i experiencing the real snowy condition. It is so DAMN COLD!! luckily i wear three piece of clothing including the thick jacket bought during my 2nd travel in India.

We checked-in in out hotel, which i dont quite remember, i will edit it later if i remember. but the hotel is just beside the small river at the middle of the town. Good rates, The room is BIG! and just beside a river surrounded by snow all over. How lovely. Only i went to travel with my 3 friends. This place is perfect for Honeymoon.

Cheap. Peaceful. Snow. Cold. Friendly people. Yeah, Manali is a Honeymoon place indeed, exactly what is written in the Travel Guide, that is before  the 2nd day in Manali when i found out so much more. hehe.

For Muslims, i couldn’t locate any Muslims restaurant so i ask one Muslim dealer selling clothes there on where to eat. he just simply say, go to pure vegetarian restaurant, a pure vegetarian restaurant is abundant wherever you go in INDIA, be rest assured, and the food is good!. *A reliable tip applicable to anywhere you travel in India if you are unsure about the state of Halal of the food in the City / Town.

So the first day we just went to few places of interest, but not that good, the only thing we were excited is the fact that we are touching the snow! haha.

So the 2nd day i went to Solang Valley (Solang Nullah). They say it’s The Ski Haven. A very very true reflection indeed. This one i remember clearly. The tip is, when you are going there, i would highly recommend that you go to the travel agent in the town to check prices and book your journey a day before. It is the cheapest if you can get the package to sollang valley from travel agent in the town. Don’t believe a word what the by the roadside taxi/jeep driver is telling you. They say, you go up there first, there is cheaper. I believed him, so i got fooled, but the next day i found out the Travel agent has cheaper price, significantly cheaper.

I got fooled so i hope you don’t! i’ll attach the sample picture i taken for the prices, this way long ago, but just a little bit the idea of what im trying to tell.

So we were given a guide, which is a must by the rule and regulation of Manali state, and man, he was handsome, if i were a girl i would totally go over him. I am that talkative so i talk with his friend and some of the taxi/jeep driver, they say he is the Undisputed King of Skiing, dominated the state competition for 2 years in a row. I never went to any form of skiing whatsoever but i got one of the best guide there. I would put his name here if i remember, but for the time being i couldnt remember. haha.

When we reach Solang Valley, the guide will show us how to ski and will take care of you during your trip there. When i say the people there, now i know, why Manali is so famous, the slope is very challenging, there is lightweight cable transport for single person to go up to ski all the way down. When i came, there is a lot of Indian Army practicing their skiing skill there. My guide said they are the special forces, anymore than that he cannot tell me as it is classified. Ok i said.

So after skiing i tried the sky diving, which is damn EXPENSIVE! i think i paid about rm70 for that one sky diving, but it was worth it! I had to climb so high up since we cannot use the cable car because it was being used by the army. After reaching the peak of the slope, there will be 3-4 person handling it to prepare the parachute, the long wide one. And one of them will dive with you. I had to run fast towards the cliff with the person on the snow which is melting since it’s afternoon. It was not until the 3rd try i was able to go and dive along the great sky. With so much adrenaline, i screamed as loud as possible to let out the joy in me. When we reached down, damn! i want one more! but i kept to my senses and save my money.

Then we went back to our hotel in the evening and slept off till the night after we went to a small club house to play pool. Cool eh? see the pic.

We slept good double digit hours, and packed the next day to go back to New Delhi by the HRTC super volvo bus!

I can’t wait to write about Jaisalmer. The hot encroaching desert with a very coool wind! and with full handphone coverage in the middle of the desert!!

sorry to whoever that have read this blog but frustrated by the lack of long continuity, now im starting again after a very long break, just let me get this one startedwhen the SpiceJet Boeing 737 plane landed in New Delhi, im having an excitement in my belly, but a lot is waiting for me as a suprise,  my planned was to get a taxi, quite a long distance and with baggage so i prefer taxi rather than auto-rickshaw, *guide* please dont take autorickshaw in the middle of the night, in addition to not safe and inconvenience, they will hit your pocket hard!, if you read my last post on this section, same goes with auto, you will be better off taking the taxi by paying it first in the prepaid booth taxi counter available in airport, bus station, taxi station and other public places, follow my advice if you dont want to pay more than you deserve!

After about 45 minutes, i then arrived at New Delhi train station, i dont quite remember which station since in new delhi there is the “new delhi station” and another one “old delhi station”. but whatever it is, we planned not to stay in any hotel or dormitory since our train only 5-6 hours away. but this one catch me as the first suprise, i have stayed overnight in train station before when i was travelling in south india, but things slightly different now, mainly due to the temperature, it is FREAKINGLY COLD!! i think it is 15 degrees celcius and we were sleeping on the couch and on the floor covered with our own old newspaper, (mind you, we are backpackers! tight budget!), i was having trouble sleeping with my other 2 friend were already shivering all over their body.

our train finally arrived at 5.30am in the morning. another suprise came along, as many train i have ride before this in india, it is the first time i came across such a good one, turns out to be an express exclusive train, the seats were big and spacious and leg compartment was roomy, we were served much better than domestic malaysian airlines in-flight services! after close to 2 hour journey (by other means even other than this express train, it would take nearly 4 hours) we arrive in a fresh body and mind to get started with our plan for that day.

Visiting Agra is nothing but Taj Mahal and Agra Fort, this is the only two place that you MUST go! and i wouldnt recommend you to spend further time here, and please please dont stay here overnight okay! (hotel is expensive here, and this city sucks except that it has one of the 7 wonders of the world) 

and they say. The Wonders of the World. The Magnificent Taj Mahal. The Story of Shah Jahan, Mumtaz Mahal and his son, Aurangzeb. simply put, Shah Jahan loves his second wife so much he built her a mausoleum so freakingly expensive, and then upon completion, imprisoned by his son Aurangzeb after the son killed all the other siblings to grab throne, when in prison in Agra Fort, Shah Jahan could only see the Taj Mahal from his balcony of the prison, i’ll show you the pic of the Shah Jahan prison. For futher story, google it ok! 

When we were about to enter, we went to the ticket counter, and i answered we are foreigners, and were charged 750 rupees equivalent to rm70. what the ……., for your info, i have this indian mind set whereby above 500 rupees (rm50) considered super expensive. so i got mad. but i get myself calm and happy coz it will be worth it to see the taj in real life. for local indian (including anyone who can speaks hindi well, you can pretend you are local indian) will be charged only 20 rupees, a mere less than rm2.

There will be a lot of hawkers and sellers, want to sell their stuff and rickshaw want to lend them their good service, and people saying, “buy this original marble made taj mahal replica” but i would advice you, dont ever ever buy anything here, make your way directly to the counter, proceed to the gate, go straight into the main area of taj mahal and enjoy the beauty! 

Going inside the main area, you will walk a long distance of about two long ponds and the view is very exquisite, spend as much time here as possible, some in the balcony of the taj, and little time only inside the taj mahal proper itself (nothing is inside, and you are not allowed to take any picture of the tomb).  

going into the Taj Mahal, you will be ask to remove your shoes and carry it along or use the shoe cover given at the entrance, dont leave your shoes for the thieves ok!, take pictures as much as you want going around the taj, and go to the back of the taj looking at the river behind it.

Across the river, lies the foundation of the “The Black Taj”, nice name right? It was started just before Shah Jahan imprisoned, designed to be more than 1/2 the size of The Taj Mahal but using black marble which is a rarity with much rarer diamonds using the mind and hands of a well renowned architect and engineer at that time, much better than the one that built the Taj Mahal, it is said if it is fully completed, it would be the most exquisite, enchanting, superbly beautiful piece of monument. Some say, it would be A Masterpiece of Art. It was intended for his own Mausoleum (Shah Jahan). You can see the plan and layout of “the black taj” in the museum besides the Taj Mahal.

If you look closely at the wall of the Taj Mahal and you will see the intrinsic design of regularly repeated pattern, the coloured marble were actually coloured diamonds that were used during construction but were removed little by little by the ruling government since the time of Aurangzeb.Enough about Taj Mahal, it is simply out of the world, you have to see it to believe it.

 Now we go to  Agra Fort, you can take autorickshaw to go there, which would be cheaper if you dont afraid to bargain and be confident about it, you will get your price, believe me! when you reach there just pretend and speak hindi a little you will get cheaper local indian price. learn the language and use it.

it is too much to tell about Agra Fort, and it is simply amazing, so much story i narrowed it down. It is used as a military fort in addition to palace in the time of father of Shah Jahan (jehangir? i dont quite remember), so you can see parliamentary hall, people’s hall, where people can speaks about their problem among others. and therein lies the prison of Shah Jahan.

you can see through this picture his prison have that balcony which will directly view him of the Taj Mahal he built himself while he is now prison. “A dedication of love at a cost of self-freedom” or you can say “The price that a ruler must pay for wasting the civilian’s money”.

INTRODUCTION

This section of my blog, i will write about my experience on travelling, i might not be able to finish it but i will try as hard as i could. and most important thing, please bear with my english, i hope its not too bad. hahha.For your information, i called this story is the Backpackers story is because when i am travelling, i will prefer to travel freely which that means without taking a package trip from travel agents! It is much cheaper and very flexible BUT you have to have a very strong background and orientation on whichever place you are going to visit. So, plan well ahead guys!For this first edition,it is a story of myself (along with three friends) embarking on a journey to the North and the West of the India continent. A continent? for me it is, it is a very big country, with variety of colours and happenings all over it. A little introduction for everyone that doesnt know much about me, and by chance found this little blog of mine. I am Malaysian, studying abroad in India, in a little city called Manipal, situated on the west coast of South India, near Mangalore, in the state of Karnataka. My institution called Manipal University, and my college is Melaka Manipal Medical College, and yes i am studying medicine (MBBS) here.I am writing this section of my blog mainly to give some rough idea of my journey so that my colleague might find it useful, or to anyone out there reading this, i hope that it will be useful for whoever you are. and the next aim is that so i dont forget my own memorable journey throughout this 17 days.We were having exam during 12th february till 23rd february, and it was a tough one, and right after that we kick off our journey on the night of 23rd february.we took a bus from Manipal at 9 pm on the night heading towards Bangalore. Usually it will take around 10 hours to reach Bangalore. and this bus is daily available around 8-9pm. The volvo bus (sleeper coach- my favourite!) that i took cost me 500 rupees. Bring your mobile charger into the bus, there is a plug inside the compartment.*Guide* – Travelling using Long Distance BusIn India, if you want to buy a ticket bus to anywhere from any ticket booth, there is several type of bus,the two main type is seat and sleeper. i usually take sleeper coach because in India, places are so far apart, with at least 10 hour journey between major places. Also, in India, the road are in some part a-pain-in-the-ass. You could be having serious problem if the bus is not good enough, especially if the suspension is bad. To avoid this problem, and get the very best and smooth journey,REMEMBER! to ask for VOLVO bus. the term VOLVO BUS in india define of a bus which is very big, very good suspension, very comfortable seat and of course with Air Cond (in India people say Aircond in two letter pronounciation of A and C = AC -> even beggars that doesnt know english will know what AC is). But surely,with comfortability, come a higher price,which could be so much expensive in some cases (such as hill road).

BANGALORE

the story24/03/2007we arrived in Bangalore around 7 am in the morning, and the bus stop at Majestic area (Gandhinagar Area). this area is near the big bus station with city buses and long-distance bus. the Airport is also not that far from here. when we got down from the bus, as usual a storm of auto-rickshaw driver pursuing us asking where we want to go, which hotel and bla bla bla. We went to a Hotel GM Plaza, recommended by friend. A good hotel, with nice bed, but the room is quite small, and the bathroom is so tiny,and costly also. (Bangalore’s hotel most are expensive compared to other city that i have been). Hotel GM Plaza. Contact number: 08022206156.*Guide* – Auto Rickshaw?Auto rickshaw is a three wheeler public transport in india. It is present almost anywhere, for as long as i know, it is not present only in the state of sikkim, please correct me if i am wrong. It usually cover short distance travel within vicinity of a city or a town with reasonable fare but beware of the driver because they love to cheat!*Guide* – Tips on travelling by Auto RickshawAlways take auto from a prepaid booth, then if it does not present, always ask the auto driver to use meter, and then if he still refuse to use meter, always ask the price before you enter the auto and try bargaining as crazy as you can, because beware, they always increase the usual price, and by bargaining like crazy,in my experience, you can get up to 50% less of the price he told earlier. Also, be very clear on where are you going to the driver, if the driver couldnt understand you, take another auto.simple.*Guide* – Accomodation Tips 1It is better to book earlier a hotel in the place that you are going, either from recommendation by a friend or from any travel guide, because it doesnt matter anywhere in India, whenever you got down from any transport, be it bus, or train, a number of auto-rickshaw driver will go to you and persuade you to go to their “supposedly” good or cheap hotel. If you already book the hotel, tell the auto-rickshaw driver to go to that hotel that you booked ealier. DONT listen to the craps that auto-rickshaw driver tells you because he will say. “ariyaar,that hotel not good,very expensive, blablablabla”. dont believe a single word.he will, along the way, try as hard as he can to persuade you to change your mind. sometimes coming up with a weird story! I ADVISE you not to do it because if you do go to the hotel they recommend, the hotel will have to pay commision to the auto driver, and that will cause your room price being significantly higher than usual.About BangaloreBangalore is a IT Hub of India, with big companies having their outpost here, inluding Microsoft, Hewlett Packard, Cisco and other big big IT companies in the world. A city with packful of traffic jams from morning till evening. Bangalore also is the capital of Karnataka, a state as big as the peninsula of Malaysia, in India, Karnataka is state of average size. The most happenings in Bangalore is the MG Road, where you can find cinemas,shops,and fast-food outlet. There is a road branching from MG Road called Brigade Road which is the most happening road of all the MG Road. Surely not to be missed if you go to Bangalore.Remember, urinaters will be prosecuted! so dont do that thang on by the side of the road like Indians usually did when they have the urged! guys, dont pretend you havent done it especially if u are living in india.the story-continuesafter taking shower and everything else to prepare for the day, we walk towards the city bus station near our hotel after gathering informations from the person at the hotel counter. after quite a while we seemed to be hitting the right place but we dont know which bus to take! i seemed a bit shy of asking people around for info well maybe because my journey has just begun and havent picked its tempo yet!and then we finally got our much-needed info and that is the bus numbered 226. We are heading to WONDERLA! after 10 minutes the bus arrived on platform 19 and paid several rupees to get going. the bus took around one hour to reach the wonderla gate. from the gate, you can take the free bus provided form the main road to reach wonderla (the theme park is quite a distance from the gate). Honestly, we were not expecting the price to be so much (540 rupees! wow! a-wholesome-lot),but we were bothered about it so much becaus
e its been a while since we got to enjoy in a such a big theme park like this one. from the map of the theme park, obviously divided into dry and wet park. we start by the dry park and straight away riding the one ride i havent experienced before, it is called Hurricane, its like a huge fan at a height of some 20 meters and you are stuck with one of its blade, and the big fan will rotate like hell and it got my slippers flying off! yup! i forgot to take it off, so excited maa!!the hurricane ride! im so sorry, this picture is rotated to the right, i dont have time to rectify it. hehheview of wonderla taken from a very high ferris wheel Then its my favourite ride, the Maverick, the same one back in Malaysia in the Times Square indoor theme park, it is called DNA mixer, and well it reach my expectation of becoming pening gila gila, haha. the maverick. same je macam dekat times square tuuu.the final ride we took was Insanity, and simply it is INSANE, beware anyone that cannot cope with the disastrous dizzines it will bring, the ride will turn and twist you in every direction possible, at the end of the ride it left us with intolerable headache and dizziness, guess what? i didnt bother bcause i want to go to the wet park after this, hehhehehe.There are a lot of other rides which most of them designed to make you feel dizzy! but a notable let-down is, there is no roller coaster, but my friends dont be so down, because where else can we find a good theme park? Manasa in mangalore? naaah, dont even go there pleasee….hahahaAfter that we went to the dressing room and change ourselves to get WET! but due to limit of time bcoz we have other agenda, we only got little time so we chose the Wave pools, and after waiting for a while, it is as good as i have predicted, the wave created was so high that i accidentally swallow quite amount of water and had my nose all itchy.The wave ended after about more than 30 minutes or so, we got back and have shower, and dress up to get back to the city, and suprisingly they even have prayer rooms in the theme park, which you can find in the big building that is most far away in the park, or just simply ask the staff there, they will know about it. the prayer room facility that was providedAfter all, we were able to enjoy ourselves during our time in Wonderla! This is the schedule timing if you want to take the bus from wonderla back to bangalore.Then we got back to Bangalore and ate in KFC (its been more than 6 month since the last KFC meal) there and go around to do some window-shopping (my favourite habit) and then we went straight back to the hotel to get a proper rest, well, it have been a long and tiring day! KFC in Bangalore.25/03/2007Today is where we supposed to take the flight from Bangalore airport to go to Delhi. So a new day now after yesterday, we start with a light breakfast in one of the nearby restaurant and headed directly to brigade road and do a lot of window shopping and little buying as to prepare for the journey. i bought new shoe moderately priced (i am on bit budget because i dont know how much i’ll spend the next few weeks of journey). i need that shoe because i didnt have any! as simple as that, as i also considering the amount of journey i am expecting to make, so a shoe is the best option for me!we got back to the hotel and pick our bags in the luggage we left at the hotel and put it into the taxi we book earlier in the morning through the counter. the taxi cost around 300 rupees which the price is quite okay because we got a proper nice van.*Guide* – the luggage guidehuh. couldnt find time to write this guide, i will include it in another part of this 1st edition.Arriving at the Bangalore airport, i suddenly realize that i am in an airport, dont understand? i dont like airport that much and also at the same time i also like airport for some other reasons, mixed feeling! if you dont understand, leave it be, because some people reading this will understand why! hehe.passing through the security was a big relief (dont ask why), and we check in our luggage at the counter, for your info, we bought SPICEJET ticket to delhi for around 2700 rupees. the person at the counter advice us to enter the gate and wait at the waiting hall a.s.a.p because this bangalore airport is heavily congested, and it is indeed true of what he says, so my friend, if u are using the domestic airport, remember about this okay! Then while we were waiting i realize that i dont have the prayer timings in places that i am going, and on top of that, aiman forgot to bring his qiblat direction compass along, so then tepet found an idea after he saw that we could use wireless internet connection in the waiting hall. we bought the wireless topup card to use the internet for 1 hour, then i use my laptop to download all the info on prayer timings and the degrees of qiblat on each possible destination that we are heading, still i dont have compass though! at that time we need to buy a compass that we bought later on in our journey.At the time of boarding, there is still no sign of SPICEJET being opened up for boarding, but there is a sudden long queue appears in front of us, and i ask the people for which plane they are taking, suprisingly it is the same with us! what the hell, no announcement, no remarks whatsoever in the tv showing flight status, and suddenly the plane will board in no time, i was not hurrying since i saw a lot of people havent gone on that plane yet, but i was a bit angry at the way they sort out this matter, but at least better than being delayed. agreed?Then wooof! the Boeing 737 plane went off the ground and we already on our way to DELHI! yaribaaaa yahooo!

Keempat – Pakaian seharian orang india

pembaca2 blog ni mesti tertanya dan terpikir bagaimana gambaran org2 kat sini dari segi pemakaian diorang, semua hasil drpd observation aku selama aku tinggal kat sini dan ketika travel di seluruh India,ingin aku ingatkan ini hanyalah semata2 mengikut pendapat aku sahaja,perlu juga rakan2 aku utk mengesahkan tapi ramai yg telah bersetuju dgnnya ketika aku mengutarakan pendapat aku tentang hal ini. aku akan kategorikan kepada lelaki dan perempuan, dan mengikut kategori2 lain.

LELAKI

1. baju yg paling umum ialah diorang suka pakai baju kemeja berkolar (of course la berkolar nama pun baju kemeja) -mesti korang ingat pelik tapi seriusly diorang ni mmg majority pakai baju kemeja tak kisahlah die tu doktor ke, org kaya ke,miskin ke,even pengemis pun pakai baju kemeja! pada pemilihan baju kemeja, mereka banyak yg gemar baju kemeja yg berkotak2 tak kira la kotak besar atau kecik = corak2 kotak ni remaja2 yg byk pakai/peringkat umur student Uni, yg dewasa dan tua2 besenye memilih kaler plain, dan yg betul2 tua2 (takdela sampai yg bongkok2 tu, yg nampak tua dan bongkok2 juga lah) suka memakai baju kemeja berwarna putih (slalu diganding dgn kain putih-sila baca penerangan pasal kain lepas di bawah)
2. t-shirt? hanya beberapa org sahaja pakai dan tidak popular dan tidak digemari org2 tempatan india, namun saban hari aku nampak mcm peningkatan pada pemakai t-shirt yg beraneka ragam, kalo yg pakai tshirt bese diorang akan pakai yg tulisan2 atau gamba2 bese, dan bukanlah tshirt adidas mahupun nike (bukanlah diorang miskin, byk je kedai adidas dan nike kat sini) dan ini juga diiingatkan hanyalah generalization! ade sesetengah group yg aku perasan suka pakai lengan panjang, walaupun time musim panas! wow!
3. seluar? atau kain? diorang kat sini yg besenya pakai kain hanyalah org2 dewasadan org tua, diorang punye kain hampir sama dgn kain pelikat namun kain diorang takde corak mcm kain pelikat dan juga tidak dijahit bersambung (kain lepas la) dan diorang ikat ade cara tersendiri,aku tau tapi tak reti nak describe, cara ikatan tu senang utk diorang berjalan, perlu diingat! diorang suka pakai baju kemeja kan? jadi pakcik2 ni ramai pakai baju kemeja + kain lepas.
4. seluar pula? seluar secara general aku nampak kalo remaja2 masa kini ramai pakai jeans, tapi jeans diorang mmg gile2 bukan mcm kita kat msia yg pakai jeans yg lawa tapi takde corak2, agak2 modest gitu dari segi jeans punye presentation tapi jeans diorang kat sini mcm2 corak dan gaya, tampalan dan kaler2 yg divariasikan, dgn tompok2 putih di sana sini, poket sana sini, bootcut dan ENDLESS variation dan aneka jeans org kat sini pakai. menarik bukan? warna warni jeans india!
5. bagaimana pula di kaki? ade dua kategori di sini, yg pakai kasut atau selipar dan yg berkaki ayam, ramai juga yg berkaki ayam di India ni, terutamanya pengemis, TETAPI bukanlah semua yg tak pakai selipar itu adalah pengemis, ade skali aku terkejut la die ni berkaki ayam aku nampak di depan rstoran rupa2nye die adalah pemilik hotel dan restoran di belakangnya! kagum! tapi seiring la juga dgn penyakit cacing yg byk di sini, pada kategori yg memakai kasut pula, yg pakai kasut, kasut diorang tak se-variasi jeans diorang, normal aje lah.
6. aksesori? diorang sgt suka pakai spec hitam mungkin mereka merasakan diri mereka cool? atau meniru gaya2 artis bollywood seperti john abraham? (john abraham tak hengat nye byk iklan die pakai spek hitam) aku pun tak pasati di atas sebab musabab mereka suka memakai spec hitam namun itulah kenyataannya. aksesori lain? takde yg terlintas di fikiran aku heheh.

PEREMPUAN

1. perempuan kat sini ada 4 jenis cara pemakaian, iaitu pertama memakai saree, kedua memakai salwar (baju punjabi tu kalo korg tahu la, kalau tak tahu tanya aku lebih lanjut), memakai jubah menutup segala inci badan kecuali muka,dan yg kontemporari seperti remaja zaman skrg = tshir + seluar.
2. Saree? anda tahu ape saree saya pasti jawapannye ialah iya. tapi tahukah anda saree pada observation aku ade dua jenis iaitu yg baju atasnye menutup bahagian perut dan satu lagi yg expose bahagian perut seperti apa yg bese kite nampak officialnya saree itu! berbagai jenis kain saree juga seperti yg range murah2 kain nye tidak seberapa kilat dan coraknya adelah cliche dan sudah basi, dan yg range mahal kekilatan nye seperti menyabung org sampai mati -exaggeration je… ok2 berbalik kepada perbualan asal, tahukah anda bilakah mereka guna sari?? mereka akan guna saree hampir pada smua kerja seharian dan hampir smua pekerjaan akan memakainye, daripada pengemis, pembersih ikan dan penjual ikan di jeti dan pasar2 ikan, penjaga kaunter, cleaner rumah aku, cikgu, dan ape sahaja jenis pekerjaan terlintas di fikiran, yg aku paling terkejut ialah yg kerja buruh pun pakai saree! yg angkat2 batu besar2 atas kepala (aku tgk masa pergi sikkim) dan pengangkut barang2 kat blakang badan pun pakai saree! menakjubkan bukan? kire saree ni aku dah anggap macam baju national diorang, mmg sgt2 nasional sbb smua jenis pekerjaan memakainya, tak kiralah kerja keras atau cikgu atau ape2 skalipun.
3. baju punjabi, baju yg labuh sampai lutut dan sluar mengguna material kain yg lembut (sama dgn baju,corak boleh berlainan) dan ade kain apetahnamaakutakingat yg letak kat leher pastu biar jatuh ke belakang, pakaian ni digemari oleh remaja2 dan student2 (peringkat umur student). begitu ramai yg memakai pakaian ini selepas saree (saree paling banyak org pakai).warna dan corak sangat2 variasi, oren,kuning,ungu, diadunkan berbagai bagai cara dan corak bunga2 yg bermacam2 dan ada yg dibubuh manik2 kilat2 atau serbuk2 ape tah, aku tau tapi tak reti nak describe hehe, korang jgn terkejut kalau ko tgk adunan warna yg ko rasa janggal tetapi kat sini nampak seperti biasa sahaja,ape yg ko nampak itulah kegemaran diorang betul kan? tak bleh nak bantah atau apa2 hehe…
4. jubah. perempuan islam di sini tidak kurang banyak nya, dan majoriti memakai baju jubah melitupi segala badan dan biasanya jubah berwarna hitam, aku rasa smua org yg pakai jubah begini pakai kaler hitam. tak silap aku la, kwn2 aku kat sini sila bagi pandangan ye. of course diorang pakai tudung la.
5. jenis kontemporari memakai tshirt dan seluar(mainly jeans la) semakin hari semakin berkembang dan makin ramai terutamanya yg kontemporari dan student2 kat sini yg datang dari pelusuk india, maybe yg dari bandar2 besar maybe pakai begini la, dan corak2 jeans tak begitu variasi seperti jeans2 lelaki namun tshirt2 perempuan ni byk gile corak dan warne, variasi la,
