tentang sesuatu

last year when i went to sabah to meet her,
my father asked: Why are you going to Sabah for that long, for one week?
i told: compared to other people, i spend more time with you dad, more than i spent with her
and he smiled and said “OK!”

the fact:
8 years 9 months of duration
1600km of distance
2 hours 20 minutes of Boeing 737 flight or 2 hours 30 minutes of Airbus 320 flight
14 months since last meeting
another 6 hours for next meeting
i’m getting super nervous before every meeting

one prominent sign that i am super nervous even without those anxiety symptoms is:
The detailed scrutinized planning i lay out for the 2 days activity. and keep checking and thinking whether it is precise or not
Counting and estimating time of travel between places of interest.
Making a list and calculating estimated cost

Do i look that paranoid?

huuuuh, i am so nervous.

Oh my lover, come and meet me in another 6 hours!
i’ve been waiting for 14 months, i’m sure i can wait another 6 hours!

It was 11 years ago when i met him,
Our Butterfly effect was when i came to him and greet him: “Kelas sama, dorm sama, masuk pun sama!”.
It was the first instance i could think of the first time i meet him,
It was during March of the year 1998.

What went on after that was none of that i could ever imagine at that time, in 1998.
Befriended him, and going through the years of boarding school together for 5 years is magnificent.
Boring boarding school became such a wonderful journey filled with memories.

Knowing him, with all our playful life at that time, were the joy of that time,
with crack of jokes, moment of madness of being caught by the warden,
“fly” from school, every wednesday is a movie day at GSC seremban,
and every thursday night is a Nasi Lemak eating day at 12 midnight.
and a thousands more stories of our time together.

Between me and him, i was the first to have a girlfriend,
Between me and him, i managed better with girls while he was very shy, and blushes in any instance with girls,
Between me and him, back then, we always thought i will be the first to get married,
Finally, Between me and him, he is first to be married, with someone who he loves so dearly.

I am so glad and happy for him that he finally married the only woman to have make his heart moves,
The one that he cares and truly loves, The woman that are willing to give all her might to take care of him,
and for that my friend, in taking the big leap of mariage, i believe you and her,
in Allah’s blessing, will hopefully lead to a divine happiness with endless sweet memories ahead of both of you.

Lastly, Congratulation my friend, for your big wish has finally came true. I wish all the best for your future endeavour.

10/10/2009 & 11/10/2009: Khalifah Alam Maya & Virgobiru.

Tuan Guru Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat is a prominent political, religious figure in Malaysia. Who does not know him? And he really is a wonderful person, likeable by Muslims, and Non-Muslims alike.

As usual, Amir Muhammad does not dissapoint us with his latest piece, contributed toward the 15Malaysia Project.

I really love Amir Muhammad works. Just go and look for it okay, except i haven’t seen Susuk yet. I leave it all for you readers to google on him.

“The Tree” explains about the essence of doing good to other people. Tuan Guru Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat gave the example of The Tree, when you plant one, you get various way, and many unthinkable alms, just by planting a tree.

Really, this can be applied to a lot of thing, but the example given of a Tree really explains it all. If you are teacher, and you teach your pupils with dedication, your students will use the knowledge gained to do good to other people, and the good deeds will be passed on to you, and if the students become a teacher, you can imagine it yourself.

A last note from me, Let us start to do good things that can be of benefit to others, no matter what religion we are right? We live in the same world aren’t we?

THE MAKING OF “THE TREE”

Yasmin Ahmad in Memory, 1958-2009.

There is no need to introduce her, and she passed away much to the heartbroken of many people.

“Sepet” was The Master of Masterpieces, as said by many websites and friends alike.

But different people have different favourite of Yasmin’s film.

There is no more The Storyteller, the blog.

But today, her last masterpiece is being published and shown to all of us in http://15malaysia.com.my which is a project produced by Pete Teo, combining 15 different short films by 15 different directors.

I’ve been waiting for Yasmin’s work, and also Short Films by Amir Muhammad & James Lee also.

Please, do watch it, several times, and do watch “The Making of Chocolate” also.
